The Knights of Columbus Council 12832 channel designates funds each year to charities. Yesterday the Grand Knight, Patrick Ankenbruck and past Grand Knight Gary Grossman presented the Foundation with a $500 donation. Home Again Foundation is building cottages to bring our homeless and low income “Home Again”. Not only are they building affordable homes, they’re also providing supportive services that build hope and commitment through self sufficiency. Home Again Foundation is also building a sense of community and is committed to bring back dignity and pride to those that have hit troubled times.
Home Again Foundation is dedicated to creating new beginnings through grants, donations, and fundraising events. “Giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference” said Rick Gilbert, President and Founder of Home Again, “By donating to Home Again the Knights of Columbus Council 12832 has helped the Foundation move forward with finalizing our first nine cottages and creating someone’s new beginning. Through donations like this we are excited to announce that we are expected to have our first residents move in right before Christmas!”
